Chocolate Brownies
Go on… give it a go!What do I need?
- 100g cocoa powder
- 150g unsalted butter
- 300g light muscavado sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 150g Plain flour
- 1 tsp Bicarb of Soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 roughly chopped mild chocolate bars ( I used plain milk chocolate Yorkie bars)
What do I do?
- Preheat the oven to 190 degree celcius and lightly grease a baking tin, and line with greaseproof paper
- Roughly chop your milk chocolate bars and set aside
- Slightly heat butter, and toss in sugar with coca powder
- Take off heat and stir about, the butter should be a dark glossy treacle texture
- Add in flour with bicarb of soda and stir into butter coca mix.
- In another bowl add 4 eggs with vanilla extract and beat slightly
- Pour egg mix into the dry coca mix
- The mixture should now be a thick glossy mixture
- Add your chopped chocolate bars
- Pour mixture into deep baking tray, lightly greased and cook for 20- 25mins.
